A 30 minute lesson in my home-based studio. During piano lessons we learn how to:
- Read music and navigate the keyboard: black and white key patterns, note names, high and low sounds. - Play scales, studies and pieces from the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Celebration Series for Piano. - Play additional fun pieces from method books and supplemental materials, such as Piano Adventures by Nancy & Randall Faber. - Read, clap, and play the rhythms found in our music. - Learn basic music theory concepts.
